Moving deeply into the Moon's Last Quarter Phase this week, we come to a time of closure and completion, consolidation and elimination. All this in anticipation of the Scorpio New Moon opening a potent new cycle on Nov. 18 (and a cycle closely connected to the Leo New Moon Eclipse, three lunations ago).
Otherwise, the front end of the current forecast period sees the possibility for discovery and the magic of turning thoughts into things (Saturn trine Uranus). Accountability and consequence is also a strong theme with this being third of three repeat aspects (the last one took place on the same day Robert Mueller was named Special Council). Topping-off the weekend is the prospect of happiness, love, appreciation, good fortune and glad tidings, making it an ideal time for social gatherings and celebrations (Venus conjunct Jupiter).
Enjoy these benign signatures this week ahead of what appears to be stormy weather on the cusp of December, starring Mercury Retrograde. Carpe Diem!
Lunar Gardening Report
Nope. Not this week. Next best dates for doing anything significant in the garden begin on November 21.
Daily Forecast (For all signs)
(Times are Eastern Daylight -0040/UTC)
Saturday, Nov. 11: With the Moon VOC in Leo until 11:41 a.m., watch what you agree to this morning, then look back and see how it turned out after the Moon has entered Virgo. Major developments are already in the works with breakthroughs and breakdowns reaching some kind of critical mass as two very different planetary archetypes lock onto one another (Saturn trine Uranus). Watch for significant breakthroughs that involve accountability as well as the reigning-in of reckless, impulsive behaviors while on a more personal scale of expression, the ability to focus ideas into concrete realities. For reference, this same aspect took place last Christmas and again in mid-May of this year, so there could be echoes of events that took place back then. Love, romance and harmonious interactions are available later tonight and a good place to turn our attention if we're still up for it.
Sunday, Nov. 12: The psychic fog appears rather thick this morning with the Virgo Moon moving opposite Neptune with indecision or a misunderstanding lending itself to annoyance and impatience. We can expect some clearing after dark with an emphasis on the ways and means of personal transformation and the ability to share insights and observations. With Venus and Jupiter joining together during the overnight hours, love, laughter, happiness and good fortune are in the air for those willing and able to embrace it. Cheers!
Monday, Nov. 13: Given clear skies, early-risers can witness the annual conjunction of Venus and Jupiter before sunrise; considered to be the crème de la crème of auspicious planetary couplings in astrology. Good fortune follows a good attitude while out-picturing success and favorable outcomes is the best way to kick-off a Venus-Jupiter cycle. Although this good vibe will be in evidence for the remainder of the day, your luck will be strongest in the early morning hours before the waning Virgo Moon goes up against Saturn's Wall of Objective Reality at 10:45 a.m., entering a VOC period lasting until 6:26 p.m. when the Moon enters Libra. It's here that we begin a fence-sitting session which might be the best thing to do to avoid being led astray with confusions, deceptions, "fake news" and bald-faced lies attempting to throw us off the scent (Mercury square Neptune). If things don't seem to make much sense tonight, let them go before you fall asleep, you'll rest easier and wake with better clarity.
Tuesday, Nov. 14: As the Libra Moon enters the deep closure of its Balsamic Phase, the process of completion and release becomes more emphasized ahead of Saturday's New Moon. The remainder of the workweek should be geared toward finishing and finalizing, consolidating and eliminating in order to make room for something new to emerge without getting tangled-up in the tired threads of yesteryear. An energy boost is indicated tonight, along with potential frustrations, irritations and arguments if using the default setting.
Wednesday, Nov. 15: Not much on the radar today. A potential surprise or unexpected move by another person is possible after sunset but we get back on track shortly thereafter. The Libra Moon will enter a void-of-course (VOC) period beginning at 7:50 p.m., posing hazards for binding agreements made after this time tonight.
Thursday, Nov. 16: The darkened Scorpio Moon lends emotional intensity to the beginning of the day even while we perk-up in the light of a wonder which may or may not prove to be true (Venus trine Neptune). This is a marker for meditation, contemplation, artistic expression, music, poetry and romantic interludes; it can also indicated being played, led down the garden path, taken for a ride and other forms of disillusionment. Taking the high road, this contact particularly lends itself to selfless and compassionate action whose reward is the action itself, not the outcome. We may also be called to help heal or address a long-festering wound, using the power of our focused desires alone (Sun trine Chiron). Good tidings are possible tonight after sunset with expansive feelings and the flames of desire burning within.
Friday, Nov. 17: If you're up before sunrise this morning, look to the eastern sky to find the thin, fading Moon joining Venus and Jupiter through the solar haze (closest to brilliant Venus). Watch for unexpected developments, a growing sense of restlessness or annoying eccentricities marking the morning hours (Sun quincunx Uranus). This gives way to energetic or angry speech but can still be quite favorable if you have a public speaking gig that needs to make a strong impact (Mercury sextile Mars). Keep in mind that with the Scorpio New Moon becoming exact at sunrise tomorrow, it would be ill-advised to begin anything new and untested while passionate intensity levels are likely to grow overnight with mixed results. Be safe out there, friends.
